The base of these Time Holes tracks are field-recordings created in 2015 on 10 locations in the 'Staatslieden' area in Amsterdam by Jan van Wissen, where primitive pinhole camera's (empty beer cans with photo paper inside) were installed for about 6 months as part of a pinhole-photo group project.

These sounds were live edited by PAAK and Jan van Wissen in January 2016 at Atelierhaus Wilhelmsburg in Hamburg and later that year fine-tuned by internet contacts.

The Pinhole-SLB project was organized by Chris Lintjens, Ine Ophof and Koos van der Elsen. It was exhibited from January 13 till February 26, 2016 at Zaal 100, Amsterdam.
